Former Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy will return to the U.S. next month for “select in-store appearances and live shows” to promote the release of his new album Ninth, a short run of dates that includes a lone New York City appearance and seven California performances.

Murphy’s label unveiled the dates today as part of an announcement of the release of “Seesaw Sway,” the second single off Ninth, which you can stream here.

Murphy, who mounted an extensive U.S. tour in March and April in advance of his new album, will play an acoustic in-store set at J&R Music World in New York on June 7, the day Ninth is released in the U.S. He then heads to California for five concerts and two more in-stores between June 15 and June 29 (see dates below).

In addition to “Seesaw Sway,” Murphy already has previewed four other cuts from the new 11-track album — “Memory Go,” “Velocity Bird,” “The Prince & The Old Lady Shade” and “I Spit Roses” — all of which can be streamed  here.
